Arrowtown House
The Arrowtown House is a high end, architectural build, with external cladding (both Zinc Standing Seam and ZAM corrugate) continuing throughout the interior of the home. This is a feature that is becoming more widely used, particularly with homes with generous glazing, where the transition between exterior and interior melds. Many of the panels in this home were specifically designed for the build in order to line up joins and create symmetry.
This was a highly technical installation that required absolute precision. We were the last trade on site when installing the interior panels, so there was no tolerance between ceiling and floor and a huge amount of care and accuracy was required.
The client wanted a hidden door in the cladded hallway to enter their master bedroom. We came up with a creative concept to design a custom panel that had a slightly wider seam, which then became the handle for the door.
