A courtyard sanctuary in Arrowtown
Nestled in the charming, former goldrush village of Arrowtown, under the magnificent peaks of the Southern Alps, this new home is modern and peaceful. The clients were looking for an exceptional finish for their courtyard sanctuary and were very keen to minimise any
‘oil canning’. ‘Oil canning’ is a term used to describe the waviness seen in light gauge metal roofing and cladding.
The wall cladding is ColorCote steel with a Grey Flannel finish and a single-lock standing
seam. The team who worked on this project took particular care with some clever
techniques and managed to achieve a stunning finish. Both the architect and client were
very impressed with the outcome.
