Threepwood House

Threepwood House is a comprised of a series of steeply pitched, gable pavilions. The roofline may be simple, however the technicality lies within the linear detail. With the single lock standing seam continuing throughout the roof and wall cladding and with no horizontal barge capping, the roof and wall panel seams match flawlessly, a clean, contemporary aesthetic. The cladding seams also align with corners of the aluminium joinery, and vents and wall penetrations are centred on panels and lock-seamed. To achieve this high level of finish, we use a CAD-based layout program at early stages of the design alongside the architect, to ensure the placement and size of aluminium joinery allows for cladding to be evenly sized and the location of vents and penetrations are centred from the outside in.
